This landscape was a totally neglected jungle of invasive vines and hazardous trees. We did a major removal of vines, had a few of the trees removed and chipped. All of the woodchip mulch on site was sourced from the trees of the property. We made a plan to designate garden beds and build healthy soil in select areas. We mapped out the wet and dry zones and brought in appropriate established plants. We prepped some areas for seeding and thoroughly seeded a pollinator garden on the north side of the property. Highlights from the garden are the Magnolia hedge along the driveway, shiitake logs under the water spout and the goshen stone meditation area in the west end of the garden.
